This week’sClash Royaleevent is all about survivors on the battlefield. Players need to plan their strategy in a way that helps them keep their troops on the battlefield, especially when their health bar goes down to half. And that’s because of a very specific rule that Berserker Clash introduces.
The event almost plays like a normal ranked match with a little difference: Every troop that goes down to half HP will be infused by Rage, resulting in faster movement speed and a higher attacking rate. So, a troop like Skeleton Army will never get the chance to become raged, while a card like Valkyrie can be quite useful!
Best Decks For Berserker Clash Event
As you might have already guessed, relying on spam troops that can be defeated quite easily with Zap or The Log is not worth it. The minimum bar for the deck building is troops like Firecracker that at least survive the 2-Elixir spells.
On the other hand, using cards that only target towers and buildings next to different variants of Giants is highly recommended, as they are all strong enough to survive attacks even from multiple sources.
Bowler And Magic Archer Deck
Bowler is quite a powerful unit when it comes to dealing with mid-size ground troops, especially when he is raged. However, he must be supported with a unit that can deny aerial threats, and in this case, you can use either Magic Archer or Firecracker.
Before the Bowler and the supporter unit reach the bridge, you’re able to deploy a Goblin Drill next to the tower to distract the tower guardian. This way, the opponent will have to spend Elixir to stop the push.
Mother Witch is also a good supporter unit for Bowler, but only use her that way if the opponent has aerial spams like Minions or Bats. Otherwise, it is best to save Mother Witch as a support unit for other cards like Phoenix.
Royal Recruits And Hog Rider Deck
This deck does have a catch, and without learning that twist you may struggle to find success using it. Freeze is the key to winning fights on this deck, but you need to deploy it with precise timing. When your troop is fighting with another troop or rushing towards the enemy tower, you need to wait for it to go down to half HP and then deploy the Freeze on the tower or the opposing units. This way, your troop will be raged and deal much higher damage to the opponents while they can do nothing. The deployment must be a little bit before going half-HP though.
This can help you a lot with aHog Riderpush. So, when he is about to become half-HP, you can freeze the tower and all the troops around to give them enough time to deal devastating damage to the tower. The same strategy can be used in defensive situations.
