Players can be sure that with a new season, there will be an abundance of new cosmetics to buy or earn, be it through the battle pass, store, or by completing challenges to earn weapon skins. 1Alone

Blackcell Operator Skin

The Alone skinis one of the more unique cosmetics featured inModern Warfare 3. It depicts a mutated and warped version of the fan-favorite character, Simon “Ghost” Riley. This skin features the combined appearance of three different variants of Ghost, sporting three heads that spawn from a decayed and twisted body. The skin also has multiple sets of arms, furthering the mutated and grotesque aesthetic.

Players can obtain the Alone skin immediately upon purchasing the Blackcell version of the battle pass, a more premium variant of the main battle pass. This Blackcell purchase also comes with the Ghost Charmer weapon blueprint alongside the Throat Rip finisher for the Alone operator.

Modern Warfare 3 Season 6 Superi 46 Split Ends

2Split Ends

Superi 46 Weapon Skin

Season 6 has also brought players a series of weapon skins, alongside the operator cosmetics. These weapon cosmetics are divided into four categories; Classic Horror, Orange and Purple, Scrolling Demon, and Ghostly Attrition. Players can unlock the skins from each of these within various battle pass sectors.

One of the highlights of the “Classic Horror” category is the rather simplistic Split Ends skin for the Superi 46 submachine gun. Despite its simplistic nature, the skin does as the category title would suggest, and captures an unsettling classic horror vibe. The skin is simple in appearance, as the weapon is wrapped in dirtied bandages and covered in scratches, which both serve to elicit those core uncomfortable emotions associated with horror.

Store Bundle Operator Skin

As aforementioned,Modern Warfare 3is no stranger to crossover properties that allow for external media to be represented in the game. This approach, popularized byFortnite Battle Royale, is one that a lot of large studios are utilizing, allowing players to play as their favorite TV Show or video game characters.

An example of this inModern Warfare 3Season 6 is theDaryl Dixon skin, one of the fan-favorite characters in the critically acclaimed TV series,The Walking Dead. Players can purchase this skin as part of a store bundle, which also contains three weapon blueprints, death effects, a calling card, a loading screen, and a finishing move.

Modern Warfare 3 Season 6 Urzikstan’s Ghost

4Urzikstan’s Ghost

Battle Pass Operator Skin

Farah is a main character in thecampaign of the newerModern Warfaretrilogy. She is a freedom fighter hailing from the fictional nation of Urzikstan, a nation that was subjugated by Russian occupiers. The cosmetic in question, Urzikstan’s Ghost, is a creepy and harrowing skin for Farah, placing her in a black dress with long black hair covering her eyes. The hair especially appears to be a reference to Samara fromThe Ring.

Players will have a bit more of a journey to get this operator skin, as it requires them to reach max level on the battle pass and unlock all the tiers. Those with the Blackcell battle pass will also recieve a grayscale version of Urzikstan’s Ghost skin, alongside the base edition.

Modern Warfare 3 Season 6 Demon’s Reign Sledgehammer

5Demon’s Reign

Sledgehammer Variant

Of the weapon cosmetic categories released for Season 6, the standout one is the Scrolling Demon category, of which one weapon stands out above all. The Demon’s Reign is the perfect Halloween-inspired weapon, featuring a devilish visage at the top of the hammer, as well as stretching down the handle. The whole design is akin to an ethereal storm, with bright purples and reds acting as the backdrop for the titular demon.

Players can unlock this variant of the sledgehammer through the battle pass. It is an early unlock and only requires the base battle pass, with players unlocking the Demon’s Reign upon completion of Sector 7. Much like the other weapon cosmetics in the Scrolling Demon category, unlocked in Sector 2 and Sector 15, the Demon’s Reign is an animated cosmetic.

Michael Myers Call of Duty

6Michael Myers

Michael Myerswill likely not need any introduction for horror cinema fans or fans of olderCall of Dutytitles. For the uninitiated, Michael Myers is the villain ofHalloween, a 1978 horror movie that defined the genre and acted as the blueprint for numerous horror franchises. Some may also know Michael Myers as the name of a custom game mode popularized in earlyCall of Dutytitles, which was then officially released in the form of the Call of Duty: Ghosts mode.

Unlike other crossover skins released in Season 6, such as Daryl Dixon orArt The Clown, the Michael Myers skin is obtainable from the standard battle pass. This is particularly convenient, as Michael Myers is an initial battle pass unlock, requiring no further leveling beyond the purchase of the battle pass, although another variant can be unlocked. The other variant features darker overalls and requires the purchase of the Blackcell battle pass.
