In the post, user Double-Funman said that they crafted it to sit on their desk in its own jar, making it look exactly like the specimens players come across on tables in different areas of the game. The poster went into detail on how they managed to get the Mind Flayer to float inside the specimen jar. By using some fishing line wrapped around its body and then tying it to a small nail that they then hammered into the bottom of the cork, Double-Funman created the perfect parasite specimen that would sit proudly on anyBaldur’s Gate 3fan’s desk. Although Mind Flayer parasites may not beBaldur’s Gate 3’s largest creatures, they are still feared due to their ability to feast on the brains of beings and enthrall other creatures to their will, transforming them into other Mind Flayers in a process called ceremorphosis.
Another talented fan of the game recently recreated some ofBaldur’s Gate 3’s most memorable characters from LEGO, which saw Shadowheart, Karlach, Gale, Lae’zel, Wyll, Withers, and Astarion all get blocky makeovers. Even though Larian has started work on its next project, it’s a mystery as to what the studio’s next game will be, but at least fans know it won’t beBaldur’s Gate 4.
