Now, a modder called tinybike has unveileda new real-time combat mod forBaldur’s Gate 3. Described as a “very rough draft” by its creator, the mod essentially allows the player to control theirBG3character in real-time, making fights much, much faster, but harder to control. Tinybike also unveiled a short video showcasing the combat, in which they can be seen fighting bandits in a ruin near the game’s beginning. At the moment, however, the mod does not have some important features, such as the ability to pause during fights or an AI for companions. So, gamers who don’t want to play their character solo may want to wait a few weeks before downloading the mod.

For anyone wanting to start a fresh playthrough, however, tinybike’s real-time combat mod may sound like an excellent idea.
