Hieroglitch Pyramid is the first stage ofthe Camo Cosmos system.Astro Botplayers hoping to fully complete it will need to track down seven Bots and three Puzzle Pieces, while also finding the Hieroglitch Pyramid Lost Galaxy warp portal.
Several of the collectibles in Hieroglitch Pyramid can only be found using the stage’s metal ball power-up, which is acquired about halfway through the stage. The secret exit is right at the end near the regular one, soAstro Botplayers shouldn’t waste their time looking for it before then.
Hieroglitch Pyramid Bot #1
Players will be able to find the first Hieroglitch Pyramid Bot locked away inside a sarcophagus at the very start of the stage.
Hieroglitch Pyramid Bot #2
Not long after the bridge collapses, players will find themselves on a circular platform with a blue X on it. Performing a spinning punch while standing on this X will take players to a secret area, where they’ll be able to find the stage’s second Bot near a metal grate.
Hieroglitch Pyramid Bot #3
A little further on in the stage, players will need to pass under some metal blocks that move up and down. When they reach the last one, they’ll see three pots in an alcove behind it and should break the middle one to reveal another blue X. Performing a spinning punch here will take players to a new area where they’ll need to sneak under some sleeping metal blocks by gently pushing the analog stick to the right. Doing so will allow them to rescue a cameo Bot based onLara Croft from theTomb Raidergames.
Hieroglitch Pyramid Puzzle Piece #1
Players can find the stage’s first Puzzle Piece on some spikes shortly after acquiring the metal ball power-up. If they find themselves back outside then they have gone too far.
Hieroglitch Pyramid Puzzle Piece #2
After collecting the first Puzzle Piece, players should head back outside and backtrack just a little. Between the place where they got the power-up and the moving metal boxes is a slot in the wall, through which, they’ll find a chest containing the second Hieroglitch Pyramid Puzzle Piece.
Hieroglitch Pyramid Bot #4
After grabbing the previous collectible, players should head back outside and then look for some black boxes. Jumping on these while in ball form will destroy them, allowing players to reach an area up above them where they’ll find a Bot hanging from a rope.
Hieroglitch Pyramid Bot #5
Immediately after their first encounter with the vacuum enemies, players will be able to drop down to a ledge with a row of gold blocks on it. Pushing one of these will reveal a secret area in which there’s a Bot trapped inside a pot.
Hieroglitch Pyramid Puzzle Piece #3
Shortly after the vacuum enemies, players will need to pass under a row of metal blocks using ball form to avoid getting crushed. After doing so, they should drop onto the metal bounce pad while in ball form to get on top of the blocks and then roll to their right. While the metal blocks are down, they’ll see a small passageway that they can roll through to reach the final Hieroglitch Pyramid Puzzle Piece.
Hieroglitch Pyramid Bot #6
The sixth Bot is in a metal cage near the hole that players are fired into like a golf ball. By this hole is a volcano that spins around. Players should wait until it’s facing the cage and then jump in while in ball form, which will result in them being blasted at the cage and the Bot being freed.
Hieroglitch Pyramid Bot #7
Near the very end of the stage is a giant yellow trampoline. As players approach it,a cameo Bot based on the hero fromSuikodenwill be beamed up by a red bell-like enemy. To rescue it, players just need to jump up and punch it.
Hieroglitch Pyramid Portal / Secret Exit
To find the Hieroglitch Pyramid Lost Galaxy warp, players should make their way to the room with the regular exit and then look to their right. Buried beneath some treasure is a bounce pad that will launch them to a new area, where they’ll need to push through some gold block walls. After clearing the first one, they’ll have to quickly get past two more of them to avoid getting crushed. Assuming they’re able to do so in time, players will find themselves atthe Hieroglitch Pyramid secret exit.
