As confirmed by Ubisoft, theAssassin’s Creed Shadowsrelease date has been pushed to June 23, 2025, meaning fans have to wait an extra three months to get their hands on the game. In its official statement,Ubisoft explainedthat this decision was made “in the best interest of the game.” Basically, it seemsAssassin’s Creed Shadowsis going to need more polish if it hopes to live up to both Ubisoft’s expectations and the expectations of franchise fans. It was also confirmed thatAssassin’s Creed Shadowsis now coming to Steam on day one, whereas before there were no announced plans for it to release on the platform.
