Exploring Strongholds is one of the main ways to make progress inOnce Human. Not only do they contain useful scrap, but they also hide crates that contain blueprint fragments, equipment, and gear mods. Overlook Town is one of the earliest Strongholds in the game, and it has some very useful loot for new players.
Exploring Overlook Town may not be as complicated as other Strongholds likeHolt Town inOnce Human, though some new players may be confused as to where all the important crates in this place are. Here’s a quick guide showing exactly where you’re able to find them.
Once Human Overlook Town Mystical Crate Location
The mystical crate here isfound inside the supermarket. It’s right in themiddle of the main floor, and it should be hard to miss. Get rid of the monsters inside, and open the crate to find some BP fragments for the Blast Suit armor. This set caters to melee playstyles, giving players extra melee damage, attack speed, and the ability to regenerate Stamina and gain bonus Movement Speed after killing enemies with a melee weapon.
The Blast Suit set isn’t quite as good as something like theFalcon set inOnce Human, but it’s a good option for players who want to use a melee build early in the game.
Once Human Overlook Town Weapon Crate Location
The weapon crate is foundin the outdoor cinema theater, just past the stairs/seats. Approaching the crate willcause a giant Glutton to spawn. While it might look intimidating, it’s actually very easy to beat.Aim for the glowing spots around its body, and it’ll fall to its knees. Once it’s down, aim for its flower head to deal massive damage. Don’t bother hitting it anywhere else early on, as Gluttons take greatly reduced damage to the rest of its body as long as its glowing bits are still intact.
As with all weapon crates, the contents of this one are totally random, though you’ll likely get some blue or green-rarity weapons and mods here, along with some ammo, Staroids, and other supplies.
Once Human Overlook Town Gear Crate Location
The gear crate is hidden underground. you’re able to get to it by entering the back rooms of the supermarket. Head past the open door opposite the main entrance, then turn right to see another door that leads to the basement. You’ll then arrive at a seemingly empty room. Approach the door at the opposite end of where you came from, andinteract with the button on the right. The door will open, revealing the gear crate.
Gear crates this early may contain random gear mods, Energy Links, Staroids, and a piece of the Scout set, the armor featured in the Broken Delta region. Its two-piece bonus increases Weapon DMG by 8%, making it a decent choice for all players up until they start getting pieces ofOnce Human’sLonewolf setor other Wish Machine armor.
