While playingAge of Mythology: Retold,players will need topick a specific civilization(either Greek, Egyptian, Norse, or Atlantean) and follow the story to build up their civilization in a world where Gods and monsters rule the lands.

Since the Gods are involved, players will need to pick a major God of their civilization to worship and use in order toenhance their towns and create a larger empire. Here is a breakdown of all the Gods and their powers.

Ceasefire - Prevents units in any area from fighting

Underworld Passage - Allows units to move through the Underworld

Bronze - Encases allies in bronze, keeping their defense up

Plenty - Creates a Vault of valuables

Lightning Storm - Calls down a storm

Pestilence - Afflicts a plague on enemies

Curse - Turns enemies into pigs

Earthquake - Shatters nearby buildings

Eclipse - turns day to night

Shifting Sands - Teleports troops to a targeted location

Locust Storm - Summons a plague of locusts

Citadel - Turns a town center into a citadel

Son of Osiris - Turns pharaoh into a demigod

Tornado - Summons a tornado

Plague of Serpents - Summons a plague of serpents

Forest Fire - Target a forest to burn it
